In conjunction with our upcoming annual MLK celebration on Jan. 18th, 2020, five local churches: Heartland Community Church, Hillcrest Covenant Church, Macedonia Baptist Church, Palestine Missionary Baptist Church and Westside Family Church, are teaming up to bring the variegated body the Dividing Lines: A History of Segregation Van Tour.

Together, on Dec. 7, 2019, the churches are taking passenger vans of members from each church on a guided tour to explore the history of segregation in Kansas City. The tour is expected to last for roughly 2 hours. You will not need to exit the van during the tour. Lunch will be provided at Palestine church immediately following the tour.

Also, if you would like to follow behind the vans in your own vehicle that is an option! You will just need a smartphone and vehicle with bluetooth or an aux cord hookup.

Thank you so much for signing up!
